This is an everyday, working powder horn. It’s a no frills, no nonsense, get the job done, black powder horn. It has a plain tip with a simple strap groove. The base plug is domed, black walnut with a plain brass staple to attach the other end of the strap. The standard finish is polished. The horn is left in its natural shape for a unique appearance. The horn will measure from 10 1/2 to 14" long and typically will not be larger than 2 3/4" in diameter.
