This classic style knife appeared extensively during the fur trade period and found its way to virtually every corner of the West. The hardwood handle is set off by brass wire wrapping at either end making a well-balanced knife with a firm grip. The knife is 11½" overall, with a 7" long blade and "Snakebrand" maker's mark on the ricasso. Complete with a heavy leather sheath with incised designs.
