We found these old stock blades in an old firm in Solingen. Drop-forged, ground & pre-sharpened, these high quality carbon steel blades are a very old design featuring plain, rat-tail tangs for reproducing an 18th or 19th century trade knife. These do not require guards or pommels as the tangs are designed to be glued and/or pinned into a solid stag or wood handle. 4 in size makes a good patch knife while the other sizes are perfect for neck knives, camp knives and general purpose sheath knives.
