Basically the same as the standard Colt style flask with embossed design of the stand-of-flags and canon listed previously, this flask has an adjustable automatic charger instead of the usual shut-off lever. The charger is placed against the cylinder chamber mouth and as it is depressed with a downward push it deposits a measured amount of black powder in the chamber. The charger is continuously adjustable from 25 to 35 grains of powder.
