This open rear sight with adjustable elevation blade folds close to the barrel when not in use. Two lock screws hold the elevation blade firmly in place. This sight works well with the No. 57 SML for a combination of open and aperture sights on the same rifle. The leaf sight can be folded down when the aperture sight is in use and the No. 57 SML can be quickly removed with a push of a button for open sight use.
