Hook breech and tang combination. Hook and tang faces are finished with no hand fitting required. Can be case hardened. For 15/16” and 1 in. barrels only. Octagon is oversize to allow hand filing to match barrel. Flash hole, in breech with snail, drilled to conical powder chamber. Available in 3/4-16 or 5/8-18 thread. Thread length is 5/8”.
