The Virginia is an early style, used from the French and Indian wars up to the Civil War. It is available in straight or swamp barrel channels, and with iron or brass hardware. This is a heavier stock and large size barrels can be inletted. It could be used with a smooth bore barrel as well as a rifled straight barrel. We inlet this for the large Siler lock, Davis double-set triggers and flared breech plug.
