The two-piece high-top moccasin wwere traditional to the plains, woodland, and marsh Indians of the present-day United States and Canada, and each tribe had variations in shape and style. The most common adornment was done with seed beads(as seen in the picture), porcupine quills, and metal coins.
Using this pattern, you can create either hard-sole or soft-sole Plains Indian Hightop Moccasins, with many variations.
This pattern includes whole sized 7-12 for men and 5-10 for women. If you wear a half size (ex. 7 1/2), use the next smaller whole size, as the leather will stretch and that size will, therefore, fit best.
