The Model 1847 Walker was the largest revolver ever issued to the U.S. Troops. Weighing 4.5 pounds with a 9” barrel and shooting 60 grains of powder made it the magnum of its day. It is also considered one of the rarest of the original Colt models with only a small number known to have survived of the approximately 1100 produced. Reproduction of these guns has been greatly improved over those made a few years ago and we know you will like the quality of this gun.
