The 1860 army steel civilian model features a forged steel frame without shoulder stock cuts or screws, round barrel, fixed front blade sight, ratchet style loading lever, rebated cylinder with a roll engraved navy battle scene, brass backstrap and brass triggerguard, and an Army sized walnut grip. A conversion cylinder is available for this model that is a drop-in conversion to smokeless .45LC/.45Schofield ammunition.
