Similar to the famous Rocky Mountain Rifles made during the early 1800s, the Hawken is intended for serious shooting. Button rifled for ultimate precision. .50 caliber barrels are 15/16 in. All barrels are matched to bore, groove and twist requirements of the Thompson Center Maxi-Ball.
Featuring a hooked breech, double set triggers, first grade American Walnut, adjustable hunting sights, solid brass trim, beautifully decorated and color case hardened lock, it captures the romance of the original. Twist 1:48, barrel length 28", overall length 45", weight 8.5 pounds.
